Stockholm - the City that Floats on Water - is in the center of Scandinavia. It is only one hour's flight from Helsinki, Oslo and Copenhagen.

Located on nearly the same latitude as Anchorage, Alaska, Stockholm (and most of Sweden) is blessed with warm winds from the Gulf Stream, which has produced a climate with rather mild winters and fairly hot summers.
